THE ADOPTION PROCESS

Select the pet you are interested in.

Download the cat adoption application (MS Word document) or the dog adoption application (MS Word document), fill it out completely and email it to mail@strayaid.org.

If the cat or kitten is at "A Pet's Place" you are welcome to visit with him/her. You can fill out the adoption application while you are at the store and leave it there for a volunteer to pick it up. OR you can download one from our website and either bring it with you or email it to us. You can not be considered for adoption until the application is received.

If the pet is not at "A Pets Place" it will state that it is in a foster home. Email us at mail@strayaid.org or call 954-816-0799 to schedule an appointment to meet the pet you are interested in.

You should hear back within 24 hours on the status of your application. You may call us at 954-816-0799 to check on the status of your application, if you have not heard back from us after 24 hours have passed.

Our goal is to place our rescued pets in loving homes as quickly as possible.

Please note: all pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested and micro-chipped PRIOR to adoption.

The adoption donation is paid at the time of adoption.
