Help Us Save the Helpless
Our mission
Stray Aid & Rescue, Inc. is a Florida Non-Profit group dedicated to help spay/neuter dogs and cats in the State of Florida. We want to prevent pet over-population and the killing of homeless pets that end up in our County shelters. We will help educate the community about the benefits of spaying/neutering. We will give the community access to low or no cost spay/neuter surgeries.
We will work with feral cat colonies. We will spay/neuter and vaccinate these cats in order to keep these colonies at a manageable level for the people who are feeding/caring for these feral colonies. We will rescue the kittens from a life on the streets, provide them with proper care, medical attention, as well as permanent, loving homes.
We will also rescue, rehabilitate and rehome special needs dogs and puppies. We are rescuing dogs and puppies from our local County shelter that have been abandoned by their owners. Most have not had the care or medical attention and have been subject to cruelty or neglect. We will help them get back on track to the life they deserve.
Helping our community help the strays
Stray Aid & Rescue, Inc. was formed to educate and/or assist people who want to help the abandoned cats and kittens in our community. There are people who want to care for these cats, but need help and/or advice to trap/capture the cats in order to get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, etc. There are low or NO COST programs available for these surgeries. If you are feeding a stray/abandoned cat that has not been spayed or neutered, DON'T WAIT. These un-neutered cats will contribute to the overwhelming numbers of cats/kittens that are living on the streets. We have Hav-a-heart traps available for you to borrow.
